Infections and Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, an infection can be more than just a problem for you as some infections canbe dangerous to your baby. How can you avoid infection?

1 - Do not eat raw or undercooked
2 - Do not share food or drinks with others
3 - Wash your hands often
4 - Do not litter your cat. The cats can transmit toxoplasmosis.

You may have to take medicine or vaccine to prevent infection in the baby. For example, you may need to take antibiotics if an infection develops, or take drugs if you have genital herpes.Only a few drugs and vaccines are safe during pregnancy. Ask your health care provider abouthow best to protect you and your baby. so be sure your baby will come in good health.
